Youssef feels like a very upbeat, high-energy candidate who is definitely not going to struggle with the people side of the job. Young guy, well kept, dressed professional, and came across super friendly and easy to talk to. He is very talkative—like genuinely loves to talk—and that came through almost immediately. Very confident in himself, but not in an arrogant way. More just excited, positive, and eager. Biggest thing there is honestly just that he may need to learn when to stop talking / how to rein it in a little, especially in a role where listening and pace matter just as much as personality.
He’s currently in school online studying journalism, and his work background is mostly customer-facing retail/customer service, with Walmart being the main one he seemed to really fit in and enjoy. He was clear that fast food was not his lane, but Walmart was because it gave him the chance to talk to people, help people, and be social. That is very obviously where he feels most comfortable. He’s looking for full-time work, and what stood out is that he has already done some homework on the insurance side—he already has his life and health license and brought up being willing to get property and casualty without hesitation. That’s a huge plus. Strength-wise, his biggest one is clearly relationship building / talking to people / making people feel comfortable. Weakness-wise, even though he didn’t frame it this way, it does feel like he could benefit from learning more about reading the room, pacing himself, and tightening up his communication so he doesn’t overtalk. Overall, he feels like a very friendly, energetic, coachable candidate with real people skills, and if he can sharpen the delivery a bit, he could probably do well.
Competitive Compensation: $50,000 - $70,000 - includes salary + commission & bonuses
